This instrument performs a scan of the retina to determine if there are any irregularities, separations, or retina edema. Pictures and numeric data are produced, showing how advanced the patient's problem may be.  It helps to detect glaucoma and vitreous floaters. Photos from previous visits can easily be compared to current photos to show differences.
